Description
So this is what I've been working for for the past week or so... a lifesize Thylacine sculpture!! I've tried to make a lifesized one a few times, for example with paper maché, but that didn't work out sadly so I thought 'Hey, why not try to alter a fox form?'
And here she is well, she's not really lifesize, about the size of a big fox while thylacines would be closer to the size of a German Shepherd. But she'd be the size of a juvenile lol.
She has a lot of flaws, for example the feet are too long, but I kinda like her :3
Materials used: Foam (fox mannekin) , Critter Clay (said not to crack... yea sure ), Marshmallow clay and some very cheap air-drying clay that turned out to work better than the more expensive ones, lol. Painted with Acrylics.
I think I will name her Benjamin
I might make a thylacine shoulder mount/bust too... would anyone be interested?
(I see I have to paint her tail better... pics always show more than you can see )
